Two people died as a result of a gas explosion in a house in Arkhangelsk

Two victims were found under the rubble of an apartment building in Arkhangelsk, which caught fire after a gas explosion. This was announced on June 14 by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region.

"The fire was extinguished at 11:30 Moscow time. Unfortunately, two dead people were found during the dismantling of the structures," the press service of the department wrote on the Telegram channel.

Upon the incident, the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence to two persons").

On June 14, it was reported that after a gas explosion, a fire broke out in an apartment building on 100 Division Street in Arkhangelsk. It is specified that the roof collapsed, the fire was localized on an area of 200 sq. m. Two people were injured.
