The Interior Ministry has updated the police uniforms

The updated standards of clothing provision for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia have entered into force, as well as the design of uniforms has changed. This was reported on June 10 by TASS with reference to a government decree.

It is specified that police officers will be given demi-season jackets, kimonos, lightweight trousers and athletic shoes. Police officers will also receive two sets of lightweight casual suits instead of one, and instead of three wool trousers, they will be given two.

It is reported that the changes will also affect the female form. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be given a wool cap instead of a wool cap, as well as boots instead of winter or demi-season ankle boots.

In addition, the type of shoes issued to police officers will change, which will now depend on the climate.

On January 31, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that police officers in the federal territory of Sirius would begin duty on modern electric scooters. This will increase the mobility and responsiveness of police officers.
