In the Altai Territory, in the city of Slavgorod, three people died when a Lexus collided with a roe deer, and then lost control and slid into a ditch. This was announced on Tuesday, June 10, by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
"The driver, driving a Lexus car, hit an animal and then drove off the highway. The vehicle overturned and caught fire. As a result, the driver and two passengers died," the Telegram channel said.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region clarified that the driver and one of the passengers died on the spot, the second passenger died during hospitalization. The car burned down completely.
The prosecutor of the Altai Territory, Anton German, put under control the establishment of the circumstances of the accident. If there are grounds, prosecutorial response measures will be taken.
Earlier, on June 9, it was reported that in the Krasnokamsky district of Bashkortostan, two people, including a child, were killed when a car collided with a moose. The moose also died at the scene.
