The training of the second stream of the presidential program "Time of Heroes" has started at Senezh

On June 7, Senezh started training the second stream of the presidential program "Time of Heroes". In total, 85 people received this opportunity, including 31 Heroes of Russia and 72 knights of the Order of Courage.

"On February 29, 2024, in his message to the Federal Assembly, President [of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin] spoke for the first time about the creation of this program. This is the president's personal idea, his consistent position, which is that people who have proved their patriotism and their loyalty to the country in a special military operation are the real elite of the country. We are fulfilling the president's instructions by implementing this program on the basis of the Senezh Workshop," said Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, in an address to the participants of the second stream.

Alexey Komissarov, Rector of the Presidential Academy, in turn, said that not only the participants study at the Time of Heroes program, but it is a mutual process.

"Over the past year, not only the participants of the first stream have gained a lot of new knowledge and skills, but we, all the organizers, have learned from each of the 83 participants of the first stream. And in many ways, your program is based on recommendations, reviews, and feedback from those who completed their first year of study. Now you have joined the president's reserve, and we — all those who make this program — have 85 new heroes from whom we will learn about life, love for the motherland, and friendship," he said.

Hero of Russia, holder of four orders of Courage, participant of the program Timur Kurilkin said that he was inspired to learn about the results of the selection for the second stream of the program.

"I expect a serious immersion in management theory and interaction with mentors, leading experts in the field of management, from full–time training within its framework. I expect that this training will allow us to acquire new professional skills and adapt to new challenges, to determine our place in peaceful life. I see this course as an opportunity for development, an opportunity not only to understand, but also to adopt the best practices from recognized leaders in the field of management," Kurilkin said.

Vladimir Putin announced the launch of the Time of Heroes program in a message to the Federal Assembly on February 29, 2024. Based on the results of the selection for the first stream, 83 participants were identified, who started training in May 2024.

In the year since the beginning of the training, the participants have gained theoretical knowledge from top managers and real-world work experience during internships and working with mentors.

Many of them received new assignments during their studies. So, to date, 43 appointments have been made from among the participants of the first stream. Among them are the presidential Plenipotentiary in the Ural Federal District, Artyom Zhoga, the acting head of the Tambov Region, Evgeny Pervyshov, the head of the Movement of the First, Artur Orlov, and Senator Alexey Kondratiev.

The Time of Heroes program is being implemented on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin by the RANHIGS Higher School of Public Administration on the basis of the Senezh Management Workshop. Its purpose is to train highly qualified, competent managers from among the participants of the SVR for subsequent work in state and municipal authorities, as well as in state—owned companies and development institutions.
