In Russia, it is necessary to create an environment where businesses and universities do not work in isolation, but become partners, says Stanislav Bliznyuk, head of the T-Technologies group.

"Now the industry is hampered by "fences" — between faculties in universities, between branches in business — physicists, chemists, IT specialists speak different languages. Our task is to break down these barriers, because this is the only way interdisciplinary innovations are born. It's time for the state, business and education to get married — not to try to dig wells alone, but to build space together," Bliznyuk said, speaking at the session "Who will grow an IT country?" within the framework of the CIPR-2025 conference.

He also explained why the company invests in IT and education, how these investments correlate with a long-term business strategy, as well as the personnel shortage and the Central University, which was created in partnership with 50 major organizations. As Bliznyuk emphasized, this is not a corporate project, but a university for the whole country. He explained that 25% of university students are interns at T-Bank, and 75% are interns at other companies. "This is healthy competition and growth for the entire market," said the head of T—Bank.

The head of the Ministry of Finance, Maksut Shadaev, noted that among the participants of the session were representatives of companies that are constantly developing. "For some, the industry framework, the framework of a bank or the framework of a telecom operator is not enough. New products and new businesses all the time. It is clear that new personnel are needed for this," he said. Shadaev added that in order to solve this problem, it is necessary to improve the quality of mass education. "Therefore, here we impose certain obligations on IT companies that enjoy benefits in order for them to delegate teachers to universities and take students on internships. We are talking not only about top universities, but also about regional ones," the minister explained.
