The Hyacinth-B crew destroyed the AFU command post in the area of the SVO
The crew of the 152 mm towed Hyacinth-B cannon of the Warsaw Artillery Brigade of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Zapad Group of Forces destroyed the command post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the special military operation. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on June 3.
The ministry noted that the enemy's point was discovered during aerial reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles. The coordinates were transmitted to the gunners, who promptly deployed the gun and began work.
It is specified that the target was located at a distance of more than 20 km. Russian military personnel destroyed the positions of Ukrainian militants with rapid fire and real-time adjustments.
After completing the combat mission, the gunners camouflaged the cannon and retreated to underground shelters.
"As a result of aerial reconnaissance, the enemy's command post was discovered, and the coordinates were obtained accordingly. We work constantly, so it's already like a daily routine," said the commander of the Hyacinth-B gun with the call sign Frost.
On June 2, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that operators of FPV drones of the Rubicon Advanced Unmanned Technologies Testing Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense destroyed a T-64BV tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Novoeconomichoe in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
