A case has been opened in St. Petersburg after an accident involving a Rolls-Royce and a motorcycle.

A criminal case was opened into an accident involving a Rolls-Royce and a motorcycle in the Krasnoselsky district of St. Petersburg. This was reported on June 2 in the press service of the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city.

"On this fact, the investigative department for the Krasnoselsky district of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city of St. Petersburg has opened a criminal case," the agency said in a statement.

It is noted that initial investigative actions are being carried out to establish all the circumstances of the accident.

As the 78 TV channel clarified, the Rolls-Royce driver became a defendant in a criminal case under the article on "attempted murder."

The accident occurred on June 1 at the intersection of Peterhof Highway and Admiral Tributs Street in St. Petersburg. The next day, on June 2, a motorcyclist injured in an accident told Izvestia that he was going to undergo surgery. At the same time, the identity of the alleged Rolls-Royce driver who hit the biker in St. Petersburg was established - he is the 37—year-old chairman of the board of TSN Vsevolozhsky 29, Sergey Sosorev.

An eyewitness to the accident told Izvestia that the Rolls-Royce driver first ran over the motorcyclist with the front wheels, then the rear. According to him, immediately after the collision, the driver and passenger of the car approached the victim, but did not provide assistance, but began to hide their tracks.
