Rotavirus infection was detected in 14 passengers, including two children, vacationing on the Mikhail Bulgakov motor ship. The tour operator Mosturflot informed about this on May 29.

"During the inspection of tourists by representatives of Rospotrebnadzor and the Uglich Central district hospital during the parking of the ship in the city of Uglich, only 19 people were found to be unwell. Of these, the analysis results showed rotavirus infection in 14 passengers: 12 adults and two children. Two tourists were offered inpatient medical care, which they refused," the organization's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that due to a complaint from one of the passengers, preventive measures were carried out on board the ship on May 28. As a result, additional antiseptic stations were installed on board, contacts between passengers of different groups were minimized, surface treatment is carried out every two hours, and daily inspection of people was introduced.

Passengers with painful symptoms were offered individual meals in cabins using disposable tableware. After the cruise is completed, the ship will be sent for additional complete sanitation, as part of which all spaces and the ship's ventilation system will be disinfected.

A source from Izvestia reported on May 28 that 11 children were injured in the mass poisoning on the Mikhail Bulgakov ship, which was traveling from St. Petersburg to Moscow. It is specified that there are 400 passengers on board the ship.
