At least 47 people were injured after being hit by a car in Liverpool, two of them in critical condition. This was reported on Monday, May 26, by The Guardian newspaper, citing ambulance spokesman Dave Kitchin.

According to him, two people were seriously injured, one of them is a minor.

There are four children among the injured, the ambulance representative said.

It is noted that 27 people were hospitalized, the rest were treated at the scene.

On May 26, in Britain, a car drove into a crowd of people celebrating Liverpool's victory in the Premier League. The incident occurred on Water Street, and several people were reported injured. Later, the Daily Mail newspaper, citing Merseyside police, reported that the hit-and-run was committed by a 53-year-old British citizen.
