The Council of Federation allowed the next talks on Ukraine to be held in Turkey

It is possible that Turkey will remain a negotiating platform between Russia and Ukraine. Grigory Karasin, chairman of the Federation Council's committee on international affairs, told Izvestia.

Switzerland intends to host the negotiations between Moscow and Kiev, a large-scale prisoner exchange has ended, and the Russian Armed Forces, in response to drone attacks, delivered a powerful blow to the enemy's military-industrial complex facilities.

"I would not deny anything in the current situation. There are so many options, although among them Turkey (Istanbul in particular) is one of the tried and tested. Turkey is a neighboring state, the level of trust is quite high. Why should we exclude Turkey?" - he said.

At the same time, the politician emphasized that first of all it is necessary to talk not about the place of the next meeting, but about the contractual capacity of the Ukrainian side.

"So far, unfortunately, such an impression is not formed," - said Grigory Karasin.
