Lithuanian Foreign Minister Budris urged to isolate Russia
It is necessary to isolate Russia, as well as to tighten sanctions against it. This was announced on May 25 by Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kastutis Budris.
"More military support and weapons for Ukraine, tougher sanctions and isolation of Russia," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
According to him, compliance is not a path to peace, it only gives permission for the continuation of "aggression."
On May 20, the foreign ministers of the EU countries approved the 17th package of sanctions against Russia. According to the head of EU diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, it affected about 200 vessels of the shadow fleet, which in Brussels are associated with the Russian Federation. The head of diplomacy also added that "new sanctions are already being developed."
