A child died in a car-sharing accident in the center of Moscow.

A driver in a carsharing car in the center of Moscow killed a child who was traveling on a scooter. This was announced on May 24 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the capital.

"The driver of a carsharing car ran over a child who was crossing the roadway on a mechanical scooter," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

According to preliminary data, the accident occurred on Semenovskaya embankment. The child was trying to cross the roadway at a forbidding traffic light. He died as a result of the incident.

Specialists are working at the scene. Additional circumstances of the incident are being established.

A source from Izvestia reported on the same day that two people were injured in an accident involving a bus and a concrete mixer in the west of Moscow. The collision occurred at the intersection of Krasny Zor and Gvardeyskaya streets.
