Spanish court has classified the trial of the murder of ex-adviser to Yanukovych
A court in Spain has classified the murder trial of Andrei Portnov, a former adviser to ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. This was reported by the EFE news agency on May 22, citing sources.
"The judge investigating Portnov's death has decided to keep the trial secret," the article says.
It is clarified that early on Thursday morning, May 22, forensic experts began autopsiing Portnov's body, but a preliminary report on the causes of death has not yet been published. It is assumed that the murder was committed by the shooter and two accomplices who would have helped escape from the crime scene.
The murder of Portnov in the vicinity of Madrid became known a day earlier, Portnov was shot dead near Madrid. The killer was waiting for the victim on a motorcycle at the school gates. When Portnov arrived, the attacker shot him at least nine times, after which he quickly disappeared.
