The dialogue between the Russian Federation and Ukraine may continue in Istanbul, as neither side has made any claims about this site, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, told Izvestia. He stressed that the choice of the site was an initiative of Russia.

"So far, there have been no complaints from either side about the possibility of holding talks in Istanbul as a neutral venue accessible to both sides. Therefore, there are chances that the dialogue will continue there, but with the mutual desire of the parties, it can be placed elsewhere," the diplomat told Izvestia.

The first direct talks between Moscow and Kiev in three years took place on May 16 in Istanbul. The parties agreed to present in detail their vision of the ceasefire, and also agreed to conduct a prisoner exchange according to the "1000 to 1000" formula.
