Sobyanin spoke about professional development programs for doctors

This year, 160,000 people can take part in various educational programs for doctors and nursing staff in the capital, said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

Last year, the same number of specialists received training and advanced training. The personnel center of the Moscow Department of Healthcare has become the central platform. Since its opening, over 90 trainings and over 130 training programs have been developed, covering many areas, including oncology and cardiology. There are also classes on effective communication with patients.

"The latest simulators allow us to practice practical skills in conditions close to real ones. In total, there are more than 1,100 units of medical equipment," Sobyanin said.

Employees of Moscow medical institutions are also improving their skills at specialized universities.: they are trained on the basis of the MMNCC Medical Simulation Center. Botkin, the Scientific and Practical Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine Technologies, the A.S. Puchkov Ambulance and Emergency Medical Care Station.
