Journalist Irina Pankratova has died.

Journalist Irina Pankratova died at the age of 39 after a serious illness. This was announced on May 11 by the founder of The Bell publication (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) Elizaveta Osetinskaya (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent).

"For several months she (Pankratova. — Ed.) bravely fought against a very serious illness," she said on the Telegram channel.

Pankratova was a correspondent in the Moscow editorial office of RBC magazine, worked for Vecherny Peterburg and other publications. She has won the Editorial Board and Golden Pen awards several times.
