In St. Petersburg, the sister of a participant in a special military operation (SVO) was beaten, who came to check on her brother's apartment, where he let other people live. A source told Izvestia about this on May 3.

"She went into the apartment, people are sleeping there. I tried to wake them up, but then I decided to wait until they woke up. And the apartment is a terrible mess, dirt everywhere. When the tenants woke up, this sister started asking them why it was so dirty," the source said.

After a verbal altercation, the man in the apartment began to beat the girl. She lost consciousness from the blows, but soon woke up and was able to safely leave the living space.

Currently, the woman has asked for help from law enforcement agencies.

On April 28, Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, ordered a criminal case to be opened into the beating of a member of the SVO in the Rostov region. Earlier, a video was posted online where a veteran of a special operation and his wife were beaten by a group of young people. The attackers insulted them based on their nationality.
