Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said on March 21 that the country was ready to send troops to Ukraine after the ceasefire.

"My country is ready to provide the necessary support. We are talking about very specific figures of our military forces," Nauseda said in an interview with Bloomberg.

At the same time, similar obligations should be assumed by the rest of the coalition countries, clarifiesГазета.Ru ".

European leaders are planning to meet in Paris next week to advance plans to support Kiev.

Earlier, on March 6, Nauseda proposed that the European Union (EU) allocate more than €40 billion a year in aid to Ukraine. He noted that Lithuania supports Ukraine annually and transfers 0.25% of its GDP to it.
