The inauguration of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, who was elected for the seventh term, will take place on March 25. This was announced by the Central Election Commission on March 20.

"The inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, will take place on March 25," the BelTA news agency quoted the CEC as saying.

According to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the oath of office of the President takes place in a solemn atmosphere, no later than two months from the date of election.

The inauguration will be attended by members of the Presidium of the All-Belarusian National Assembly, deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic, judges of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts.
