Trump abolished the minimum wage of $17.75 for federal contractors

US President Donald Trump has abolished the minimum wage of $17.75 (~1.48 thousand rubles) per hour for federal contractors, adopted by former leader Joe Biden. This was reported by Reuters on March 17.
In 2021, Biden raised the minimum rate to $15 per hour with automatic updates, and in January it rose to $17.75.
Federal contractors, including many of the country's largest companies, employ approximately 20% of the U.S. workforce.
Earlier, on February 8, Trump announced that he would cancel Biden's initiative to abandon plastic tubes. Biden in July last year announced a promise to abandon the use of plastic drinking straws and tableware by the US government, and a complete ban on single-use food-grade plastic in government departments, according to his plan, was to be introduced by 2027.
