A man threw an airsoft grenade at a shopping mall employee in Zaporozhye

In the Kiev-controlled city of Zaporizhia, a man threw an airsoft grenade at police officers and employees of a shopping mall (a territorial recruitment center, an analog of a military enlistment office in Ukraine), and was later detained. This was announced on March 17 by the press service of the National Police department for the region.
It is specified that the incident occurred on March 13 while police officers, together with an employee of the shopping mall, were checking the documents of citizens of military age. A man passing by shot up with a pistol and threw a grenade towards the law enforcement officers, after which he ran away.
It is specified that no one was injured as a result of the incident.
Law enforcement officers quickly identified the offender — he turned out to be a 44-year-old citizen. Now he is detained and suspected of committing hooligan acts, as well as illegal possession of weapons. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for him is being resolved, the publication says.
Conflicts between citizens and employees of the shopping mall in Ukraine occur regularly. So, on February 10, a resident of Chernihiv sprayed a gas canister in the face of an employee of the Shopping mall and Joint Venture. It is specified that after the deed, the man ran away and hid in the house, but was detained.
Earlier, on January 13, the Khmelnitsky court found guilty a man who attacked employees of a shopping mall with a gas pistol. He was sentenced to probation for one year and six months.
The Ukrainian edition of "Country.ua" reported on February 22 that in Odessa, a man fired several times from a traumatic weapon at a shopping mall employee and sprayed tear gas at him. According to police, the conflict began after a shopping mall outfit stopped a young man to check his documents. The perpetrator of the attack was detained and handed over to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
