On March 14, the head of the Federation Council Commission on information policy, Alexei Pushkov, said that the head of the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs, David Lammy, should not speak out about negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, since London does not play any role in them.

"Britain does not play any role in the negotiations and cannot make any demands on Russia," the parliamentarian wrote on his Telegram channel.

The senator thus commented on the demand of the head of the British Foreign Office to accept the proposal of a cease-fire in Ukraine "without any conditions" for Russia.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, also rejected Lammy's call on March 14. According to him, the minister "can shove this idea back to where it came from."

On the same day, it became known that the security advisers of the leaders of Great Britain, Germany and France plan to meet at the White House to discuss the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
