Movement of residents will be restricted in the border areas of the Kursk region

The Border Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Kursk region reported on the introduction of restrictions on the movement of citizens and vehicles to certain sections of the border areas of the region. The corresponding statement was published on March 14 on the official website of the governor and the government of the Kursk region.
These measures are in effect in the Khomutovsky, Rylsky, Glushkovsky, Korenevsky, Sudzhansky and Belovsky districts, in connection with the special operation conducted by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
The agency added that the presence of a issued pass, a permit for economic or other activities does not matter.
"The Border Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Kursk region has the right to oblige people to stay or leave these areas in order to protect their health and life during border searches and operations, investigative actions, as well as actions in criminal cases and cases of administrative offenses in the border zone," the message says.
Earlier, on February 15, the operational headquarters of the Belgorod region decided to resettle the residents of the village of Vysoky in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district with the payment of compensation. Vyacheslav Gladkov, the Governor of the region, noted that detailed information on the provision of compensation can be found at the Ministry of Construction, the regional government, and the administration of the Krasnoyaruzhsky district.
