Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, warned that a nine-point storm is expected in Moscow on Friday, March 14. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel on Wednesday, March 12.
According to the expert, it will rain on Friday. The air temperature at night will be +7...+10 degrees, and in the afternoon it will warm up to +11...+14 degrees, writes 360.ru .
In the middle of the day, wind gusts of up to dangerous 18-23 m/s are expected, the peak of the storm will be from 15:00 to 18:00, RT clarifies. On the Beaufort scale, this corresponds to a nine-point storm, according to the Moscow City News Agency.
With such a strong wind, according to Tishkovets, the airflow breaks branches and branches of trees, bends them to the ground, demolishes shaky structures, can damage slate from roofs and chimneys and delays the movement of pedestrians.
By the weekend, the wind will subside, but it will become sharply cooler. A crust of ice forms on the roads.
On the same day, Anatoly Tsygankov, head of the hydrometeorological center, announced that it would get colder in Moscow next weekend. According to him, an atmospheric front will pass on Friday, moderate rain and gusty winds are forecast. Temporary snow cover may appear in some places.
