The Zapad group of troops destroyed 28 control points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine drones in a day.

Military personnel of the Zapad group of Russian troops destroyed 28 drone control points and four Starlink stations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during the day. This was announced to TASS on March 12 by the head of the press center of the Western Group of Forces, Ivan Bigma.

"28 UAV control points and four Starlink satellite communication stations were destroyed," he said.

In addition, Bigma stated that the calculations of the air defense (air defense) of the Zapad group of forces shot down a HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) and 28 aircraft-type drones of the Ukrainian army during the day.

As a result, he continued, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to 225 militants. In addition, the enemy lost two T-72 and T-64 tanks, two armored combat vehicles, six pickup trucks and three field artillery guns. Two Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers surrendered, Bigma added.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that calculations of the Molniya-2 aircraft-type UAVs of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Zapad group of forces destroyed the military personnel station and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of a special military operation at night.
