Earlier in February, JAC announced that it was going to localize cars in Russia. One of the first models to be assembled in the country will be the T9 pickup truck. The Chinese company did not specify which company would produce them. In January, Sollers announced on the launch of production of all-wheel drive pickups Sollers ST6 and ST8 using full-cycle technology at the UAZ industrial site in the Ulyanovsk region, these models are based on JAC.

On February 5, the JAC brand has introduced a branded line of accessories for the T9 pickup, which includes a durable solid-cast A shovel. The T9 also received a certified tow bar, winch, electrical outlets for the trailer, a cargo pull-out platform and swivel trunks. In addition, the pickup has underbody protection, a body cover, a kung and a luggage frame for transporting long meters, and a tent can be installed on it.
