US President Donald Trump said on February 7 that he would cancel former US leader Joe Biden's initiative to eliminate the use of plastic tubes.

"Next week I will sign an executive order that will end Biden's ridiculous promotion of paper tubes that don't work. Back to plastic!" - wrote the President of the United States on the social network TruthSocial.

As reported by the New York Post, Biden in July last year voiced a promise to abandon the use of drinking tubes and utensils made of plastic by the US government, and a complete ban on single-use food plastic in government agencies under his plan was to be introduced by 2027.
