Every year on February 10, Russia honors the memory of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. On the eve of this date, experts from the Sferum online platform conducted a survey among Russian schoolchildren and found out which of the classic poet's heroes they would like to be friends with. The results of the survey were presented to Izvestia on February 10.

According to the results of the survey, the majority (37%) of students would like to be friends with Goldfish, because she can fulfill wishes. Vladimir Dubrovsky, the defender of the weak, came in second place, 16% of schoolchildren voted for friendship with him. About the same number of children - 15% chose Eugene Onegin.

At the same time 13% of pupils would like to be friends with Uncle Chernomor and his bogatyrs, and another 9% would like to be friends with Tatiana Larina, including to study French together. Among other characters of Pushkin's works with whom they would like to be friends, pupils named Tsarevna Swan.

The survey was conducted in the period from February 6 to 7, 2025, it was attended by almost 2.5 thousand schoolchildren.

Earlier, on January 28, a series of books "In the language, inaudible to you", which consists of dictionaries and reference books to the works of Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, presented in Moscow. In the books you can find a detailed interpretation of words from Pushkin's works, which children go through at school, but may not fully understand, because some words and expressions have acquired a different meaning over two centuries. The main goal of the series is to make speech better with the help of masterpieces of classic Russian literature.
