In Kramatorsk in Ukraine, the commander of a battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has shot dead fighter Valentyn Kozlyuk for refusing to give his combat pay to the leadership. This was reported by Strana.ua on February 7, citing the words of his widow Liya Moroz.

It is noted that the day before the murder, the combatant Dmitry Teslenko and a senior sergeant beat Kozlyuk. Photo of her husband's body with signs of torture and beatings published his widow in social networks.

According to the publication, Moroz repeatedly appealed to the state bureau of investigation (SBI) of Ukraine with a statement about extortion. After the murder of the serviceman, the combatant and the senior sergeant were arrested.

Earlier, on February 1, in the Poltava region of Ukraine, an unknown person shot dead an employee of the territorial manning center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office) while escorting persons liable for military service to the training center. It is reported that the attacker threatened the military officer with a shotgun and demanded that he hand over his service weapon. Having received a refusal, the attacker shot. The TCK employee died at the scene from a serious wound.
