Two vandals extinguished the Eternal Flame at the memorial in the town of Kingisepp, Leningrad Region, a source told Izvestia on February 7.

The incident occurred on February 5. To the police about the incident was reported by the deputy head of the administration of the Kingisepp municipal district.

Law enforcement officers seized video from surveillance cameras, but it has not yet been possible to identify the vandals. The circumstances of the incident are being established.

Before that, on January 19, in St. Petersburg, police identified the teenagers who danced in front of the Church of the Savior on the Blood and at some point took off their pants, filming themselves on camera. They turned out to be two residents of St. Petersburg, aged 16 and 17, and a 13-year-old resident of Moscow. The minors were questioned. The materials were sent to the investigative authorities for further consideration.
