The writer Joanne Rowling supported US President Donald Trump's executive order banning transgender people (the LGBT movement is recognized as extremist in Russia) from participating in women's sports competitions. On February 6, she wrote on social network X (former Twitter).

"Congratulations to every single member of the left-wing forces who campaign for the denial of women's and girls' rights. Without you there would be no pictures like this one," Rowling stated.

So she commented on the photo in which Trump is depicted surrounded by young female athletes at the moment of signing the decree.

On the same day it was reported that Trump will seek from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to remove transgender people from women's sports at the Olympics. The head of the White House signed an executive order banning transgender athletes from participating in women's sports.

Last August, a boxer from Algeria who failed a gender test became a gold medalist at the Paris Olympics in the women's 66kg weight class. However, it was later revealed in November of that year that she was not biologically female. A chromosome test confirmed Helif to have an XY karyotype. The hormone test also shows that the athlete has typical testosterone levels for men.
