It is noted that its duration was 37 minutes.

The day before, February 5, two flares penultimate class of power recorded on the Sun. The centers of solar activity will remain in the zone of direct influence on the Earth for at least 2-3 more days.

Before that, February 4, in the laboratory of solar astronomy of the Institute for Space Research (IKI RAS) reported that for two days on the Sun was recorded 40 flares, 13 of which - class M. Scientists noted that really strong explosions on the Sun was not detected, as the energy is still only wasted on a lot of small events.
