Hongqi certified HS7 large crossover in Russia

Hongqi HS7 crossover has been certified in Russia, the model has received vehicle type approval (VTA). The start of premium crossover sales is scheduled for the first half of 2025, equipment and prices will be disclosed later. This is stated in the message of the representative office of the Chinese brand, which was received by Izvestia on February 6.

In the Russian market, the model will be presented in both five- and seven-seat layout. The latter, according to representatives of the brand, is the most demanded by buyers. Dimensions of the car: 4995 mm in length, 1960 mm in width and 1760 mm in height. Wheelbase is equal to 2920 mm.

The Hongqi HS7 will be powered by a two-liter petrol turbo engine with a mild-hybrid 48-volt supercharger. The power output of the engine is 245 hp (380 Nm). The company noted that in the base configuration the car is equipped with means of passive and active safety, as well as a modern complex of driving assistants ADAS.

The day before Hongqi announced that the certification in Russia passed business van HQ9. At the end of 2023, this model was brought to Russia in a limited edition to assess the potential demand. Competitions and prices of HQ9 will be announced later.

January 21, Hongqi reported that the start of sales of premium liftback Hongqi H6 is scheduled for spring-summer 2025. The car accelerates to "a hundred" faster than in seven seconds.
