Trump intends to push the IOC to remove transgender people from women's sports

U.S. President Donald Trump will seek from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to remove transgender people (the LGBT movement is recognized as extremist in Russia) from women's sports at the Olympics. This was reported by ABC News on February 5.

The head of the White House signed an executive order banning transgender athletes from participating in women's sports.

"Under the Trump administration, we will protect the proud tradition of women athletes and will not allow men to beat, injure and cheat our women and girls," Trump commented.

It is specified that the executive order also directs the secretary of state to seek changes at the IOC to maintain single-sex competitions and the Department of Homeland Security to revise visa policies to prohibit transgender women from identifying as women, which would allow them to compete in women's sports.

According to the document, the executive order would also require private sports organizations to attend an in-person meeting at the White House to hear testimony from female athletes in person.

"The Executive Order calls for private sports organizations to convene at the White House to hear in person the stories of female athletes who suffer from injuries that do not go away, who are silenced and forced to shower with men, whose hard work is undone by the biological advantage of men," the document reads.

Earlier in the day, the media reported on Trump's desire to ban transgender people from competing in women's sports. It is specified that Trump will fulfill the promise that he made during the presidential campaign of 2024.

On January 29, Trump banned funding for sex reassignment surgeries for people under the age of 19. According to the piece, sex-change children will soon regret "being disfigured" and realize the tragedy of not being able to have children of their own.

Prior to that, on January 20, Trump said that the official US policy is to recognize only two genders - male and female.

Before that, on December 14 last year, American entrepreneur Ilon Musk supported the idea of life imprisonment for doctors who help children perform sex changes. It was specified that at the moment among the active military about 15 thousand transgender people. Trump plans to dismiss them for medical reasons as unfit for service.
