The Russian Embassy told about the decrease in trade turnover with Bulgaria

Last year the volume of bilateral trade with Bulgaria significantly decreased. Eleonora Mitrofanova, Russian ambassador to Sofia, told Izvestia.

"In January - November it amounted to about $1 billion, which is 74% less than the same period of 2023. Among the main items of our exports to Bulgaria are unprohibited fuels, aluminum, fertilizers, iron products," she said.

In 2022, trade turnover between Russia and Bulgaria reached a record $6.8 billion, in 2023 - $4 billion, which is comparable to the indicators of quiet years for bilateral relations, the diplomat added.
