A civilian was injured in Belgorod as a result of falling debris from a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on February 5.

"A civilian was injured in Belgorod as a result of falling debris from a drone," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

According to him, the injured man with a closed craniocerebral injury and head contusion was taken to the city hospital, where he is receiving the necessary care.

Gladkov also added that due to the fall of shrapnel in the building of the production company, the roof was damaged. Information on the consequences is being clarified, the governor added.

Earlier, on February 3, two men were injured during an AFU drone attack in the farm Tserkovny in Belgorod region. In addition, a private house in the village of Dubovoye was damaged during the Ukrainian attack.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
