Reuters reported on the reunion of British rock band Black Sabbath
British rock band Black Sabbath will perform in the full original lineup for the first time in 20 years at a concert in the English city of Birmingham. This was reported by Reuters on February 5 with reference to the organizers of the event.
They noted that the concert on July 5 will feature Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward. Their last joint performance was in 2005, specifies Reuters.
According to the publication, the band members consider Birmingham to be the birthplace of the Black Sabbath band.
"It's ... time for me to pay my debt to the place where I was born. I'm happy I can do it with the help of the people I love. Birmingham is the true birthplace of metal," said 76-year-old rock singer Osbourne.
It is reported that tickets will go on sale on February 14.
Earlier, January 23, it was reported that the rock band The Beatles for the first time since 1977 was among the nominees for the BRIT Awards in the category "Song of the Year" with the song Now and Then.
