Decapitated body of a man found in a forest in Smolensk region

The decapitated body of a 54-year-old man was found in a forest in Smolensk region. This was reported on February 5 by a source of Izvestia.

"Lying there for about two months, the head is missing," he said.

According to the interlocutor, the corpse was found on February 2 in one of the forest areas in the Dukhovshchinsky district. Preliminary, the deceased is a previously convicted resident of the village of Tretyakovo.

On the fact of discovery of the body a criminal case has been initiated.

Earlier, on January 22, the bodies of a man and a woman were found in an apartment near Khimki, Moscow Region, presumably dead due to poisoning by an unknown substance.
