A passenger on a Nizhny Novgorod-Sochi flight threatened the crew with a knife-like object

A drunken passenger on board the flight Nizhny Novgorod - Sochi threatened the crew with a metal object. This was reported by a source of "Izvestia" on February 5.

The debauchee turned out to be a 63-year-old man who walked around the cabin and swore profanities.

"He waved a metal object, structurally similar to a knife, while verbally threatening the crew members," - said the interlocutor.

A criminal case was opened against the man under part 1 p. c, part. 2 Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism committed on air transport with the use of weapons or objects used as weapons).

Earlier, on December 28, 2024, it was reported that the plane of the flight Dubai - Moscow emergency boarded in Baku because of an air rabble-rouser in the cabin. During takeoff, the man was completely calm, but he had a supply of alcohol with him. After he drank his alcohol supplies, the passenger started shouting, insulting and fighting with people around him.
