Two people killed and 35 injured in Thailand tourist bus accident
Two people were killed and 35 injured in a road accident with a tourist bus in Thailand's Tak province. This was reported by the newspaper Naewna on February 5.
The bus was traveling in the direction of Bangkok from the city of Chiang Mai. The driver failed to cope with the control, went into the oncoming lane, and then collided with a tree on the roadside. The passenger in the front seat died on the spot. The driver of the transport was taken to a medical facility, where he later died.
On this fact, law enforcement agencies began an investigation into the circumstances that caused the accident.
As reported by TASS, referring to the Russian Embassy in Thailand, there is no data on the injured Russians.
Earlier, on February 1, it was reported that nine people were injured as a result of the fall of a bus from a slope on the Thai island of Phuket. A representative of the Russian Consulate General in Phuket told Izvestia that there were two Russian tourists on the bus.
