On February 6, Igor Matvienko, People's Artist of Russia and composer, celebrates his 65th birthday. He will celebrate it on the stage of the Kremlin, where the premiere of the ethno-opera "Prince Vladimir" will take place. The jubilarian is not expecting gifts for himself. He has other plans.

"Recently, Artem Demidov, head of the Society for the Protection of Monuments, spoke at the Council on Culture. He told about the cultural heritage sites, monasteries, temples destroyed in Kursk region during the invasion of the AFU. And as he spoke, I realized what I wanted as a birthday present. I called with the deputy governor Alexander Khinshtein, and he promptly worked, opened an account for transfers to the destroyed monuments of the Kursk region," Matvienko told Izvestia.

Jubilee sent the details of the bank and wrote to his relatives and friends who want to congratulate him that he asks to send money to the Kursk region if possible.
