- Governor reports on recovery work at Astrakhan gas processing plant after drone attack
Restoration work at the Astrakhan gas processing plant (AGPZ) after the drone attack is scheduled to be completed on Wednesday. This was reported by the governor of the region Igor Babushkin in his Telegram channel on February 4.
"I keep under control the restoration work at the AGPZ after the drone attack. Now specialists are carrying out commissioning work to resume gas supply to the main gas pipelines. According to the plan they will be completed tomorrow," the statement said.
According to him, the indicators of air quality control AGPZ are normal.
Earlier, on February 3, Babushkin said that at night the AFU attacked with drones objects located on the territory of the region and as a result there was a fire. As Babushkin pointed out, there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
