The Russian delegation held talks with the head of the Syrian administration

A Russian interdepartmental delegation has held talks with Syrian Chief of Staff Ahmed al-Sharaa in Damascus. Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said on January 28.
"The meeting went well on the whole. It lasted three hours, including an official lunch. The conversation was led mainly by the head of the new administration of the Syrian interim government Ahmed al-Sharaa, Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shibani also participated in the talks, Health Minister Maher al-Sharaa, who is Ahmed al-Sharaa's older brother, and our inter-ministerial delegation were also present.
