The number of casualties in the shelling of Horlivka by the AFU has risen to nine

The number of injured civilians as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) has increased to nine. This was reported by the head of the DNR Denis Pushilin on December 19.
"The AFU cassettes shelled Gorlovka, nine civilians were wounded. All the injured are receiving medical care," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.
According to Pushilin, if necessary, the wounded will be sent to Donetsk. He also instructed the regional health ministry to support local medical specialists.
The head of the DNR noted that the AFU attack on Horlivka would not go unanswered.
Earlier, on December 16, the AFU attacked Gorlovka with Western cluster munitions and a drone. Two female residents were injured and a man was killed in the attack. The shells damaged the building of the Stirol hotel, as well as several cars. A Ukrainian drone hit a civilian car in the Komsomolets neighborhood, and a civilian died of his wounds.
On December 10, Pushilin said that the Ukrainian militants' attempts to attack Gorlovka have no military expediency, but they still do not stop.
Ukrainian militants have been shelling Russian territory, especially its new regions, on a daily basis amid a special operation to defend Donbass, which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
