A man injured by a cat in the Leningrad Region died waiting for medics
A resident of the Leningrad region, who died after his leg was scratched by a cat, did not wait for an ambulance, which took 40 minutes to get to him. About this on November 23 "Izvestia" told the neighbor and friend of the deceased Vasily.
According to Vasily, when the ambulance came to the victim, he had already died. He noted that even the police arrived 10 minutes earlier than the medics.
"I arrived, first I made him a bandage. There was already a pool of blood there. He has diabetes, his legs there are such that the cat clawed and hit an artery. Called an ambulance. First the police came after half an hour, then the ambulance about 40 minutes later. But he was done. "Ambulance" did not have time", - shared the interlocutor.
The widow of the deceased man said that the cat is not to blame for the death of her husband. As she specified, her husband had problems with blood coagulation, in connection with which even a small cut could lead to tragedy.
"What about the cat? It's a normal cat. It's just that Dima's legs are like that, all in veins. They protrude from him," - said the wife of the deceased.
About the death of the man became known earlier in the day. It was specified that the cat strongly scratched the owner, hitting a vessel, after which the man bled, which could not be stopped. From blood loss, the man died.
