Four teenagers on an electric scooter hit a child in a Moscow park
In Moscow, teenage girls riding four of them on one electric scooter hit an eight-year-old child in a park. This was reported by the source of "Izvestiya" on September 23.
The mother of the victim appealed to the authorities with a statement.
According to the source, on September 21, in the park "Prichalny" in Moscow, four teenage girls of about 13-14 years old, being on one electric scooter belonging to the company "Yandex", knocked down an eight-year-old girl and fled from the scene, abandoning the means of individual mobility (SIM).
According to the source, the injured child was hospitalized and diagnosed with a contusion of the left shin. Later she was released home.
Law enforcers establish the circumstances of the incident and are looking for a group of people who were moving on a scooter.
The incident is being checked in accordance with Article 144 ("The procedure for consideration of a crime report") of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation (CPC RF) and Article 145 ("Decisions taken on the results of consideration of a crime report") of the CPC RF.
Earlier, on September 20, the driver of the electric scooter paid 1.4 million rubles to a resident of St. Petersburg for her injuries. The incident itself occurred on July 31, 2023 at a public transport stop.
On September 13, it was reported that the service "Yandex Go" for the first time issued a fine of Br100 thousand to the user who handed over the rented electric scooter to three teenagers.
A few days later, the service "MTS Yrent" also issued the first fine of Br100 thousand for riding two people on one scooter in Moscow.
