Deputy Mayor Sergunina noted the demand for the "Moskino" movie park
More than 20 projects can already be filmed in the Moskino movie park at the same time, said Deputy Mayor Natalya Sergunina.
"In each of the ready locations has passed from three to seven shootings, which confirms their demand", - added the vice-mayor.
According to her, the site arouses interest, including from representatives of the film industry abroad. At the moment it has been visited by delegations from almost 50 countries. Among them are China, Brazil, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Uruguay.
"The movie park offers excellent conditions for shooting historical films and serials, modern pictures and fairy tales - all year round, in any season. There are sceneries of cities, villages and streets of different epochs - Ancient Russia with samples of architecture of IX-X centuries, XIX century, 20-30s of the last century, the period of the Great Patriotic War and our days", - said Sergunina.
Now in "Moskino" 18 full-scale shooting sites and four pavilions, a museum of technology, warehouses, a hotel, an administrative building, an educational center with classrooms, a cinema and a hall for events are open. By 2030, the area of the movie park will exceed 1.1 thousand hectares. Today 55 projects have already been filmed there.
Forums, exhibitions, concerts, master classes, excursions, quests and workshops can be held on the territory of "Moskino". For example, in June, for the first time events within the historical festival "Times and Epochs" were held here.
Sergunina reminded that the Moscow Export Center (MEC) helps entrepreneurs to promote Russian film projects in the foreign market. "Companies are offered profile training programs, grants, participation in business missions and international exhibitions. In the last year and a half alone, thanks to MEC support, Moscow film producers have found partners in China, India, the United Arab Emirates and other countries," the Deputy Mayor emphasized.
