In St. Petersburg, a man killed his cohabitant and poured acid on her body. This was reported on Sunday, September 22, by the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the city.
It is specified that the incident occurred on September 21 in an apartment on Baltiyskaya Street. A woman appealed to law enforcement authorities with a statement that her ex-husband killed his cohabitant and placed the body in a plastic barrel, pouring acid.
Investigators went to the scene, where they found a container with the remains of the woman's body in the attacker's car.
"In the investigative Department of the Kirovsky district of the GSU of the IC of Russia for the city of St. Petersburg initiated a criminal case on the signs of a crime under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation (murder)", - stated in the Telegram-channel of the department.
Law enforcement authorities detained the suspect. In the near future he will be charged and will choose a measure of restraint.
Earlier, on August 5, in the town of Ilansky, Krasnoyarsk region, a man killed his cohabitant and his 10-year-old stepson during a quarrel. The attacker buried the bodies in the forest belt at a depth of about 2 meters. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the fact of murder. Law enforcement agencies detained the man and his relative.
