CSKA and Rubin played a draw in the RPL match
CSKA Moscow has drawn away with Rubin Kazan following the results of the ninth round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The meeting in Kazan on September 21 ended 1-1.
Rifat Zhemaletdinov scored for the team from Moscow (15th minute). Egor Teslenko (55) scored for the home team.
As a result of the match CSKA scored 14 points and secured the sixth place in the RPL standings, while Rubin with 11 points is in the eighth position.
"The Muscovites missed the victory, and they didn't really capitalize on it in the second half. Marko Nikolic will have something to think about. In the meantime, a good chance to improve their position in the top half of the table was missed - with not the most obvious opponent," writes Sport-Express.
CSKA's next meeting will take place on September 28 - the Muscovites will play at home with Grozny's Akhmat. "Rubin" on September 27 will meet away with FC "Fakel" from Voronezh.
Earlier, on September 12, forward FC "Sochi" Saul Guarirapa moved to CSKA on loan. The footballer will play under the number nine. The agreement with 21-year-old Guarirapa provides for the right of redemption.
