This summer, over 3,000 students from dozens of educational institutions in the capital mastered new specialties as part of student squads, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"The guys worked in more than 40 cities of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm, Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Sochi, Sevastopol, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and others. They tried themselves in the role of counselors in children's camps, helped in hotels and hospitals, participated in archeological expeditions", - said Sergunina.

Many students were trained and competitively selected for management positions. Then 150 teams were distributed on different programs. Young specialists participated, for example, in the construction of such objects as the innovative scientific and technological center of Moscow State University "Vorobyovy Gory", the hostel of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba, the Siberian ring photon source.

According to Sergunina, the most active were students of Bauman Moscow State Technical University, National Research University "MPEI", Moscow State Construction University, National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI", Moscow Pedagogical State University and Russian State Social University.

The internship was conducted by the public organization "Russian Student Squads" (RSO). The activities of the capital's student squads are supported by the Moscow Youth Project of the City Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy.
